Welcome to the website www.quidprojobs.com and its service(s) (the "Platform") operated by QuidProX, a company registered in Belgium (Europe) which has its registered office at Graanweg 9, 2222 Wiekevorst. QuidProX offers a global online social referral platform.


PLEASE READ THE PRIVACY POLICY (the "PRIVACY POLICY") CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PLATFORM. BY USING THE PLATFORM, WHETHER OR NOT YOU REGISTER AS A USER, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE PRIVACY POLICY, AS AMENDED BY QUIDPROX FROM TIME TO TIME. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR PLATFORM.

General

The Privacy Policy describes what information QuidProX collects, how we use that information and what choices you have concerning this information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to our online data collection from the Platform; it does not describe information collection policies for other data we collect, including data collected on other sites, such as separate sites operated by our business partners that we do not control. Your privacy is important to us; QuidProX is committed to protecting your privacy. In case you violate the Privacy Policy, QuidProX has the right to deactivate or cancel your access to the Platform.

When we refer to "You" and "Your(s)", we mean the user of the Platform whether or not the person uses the Service offered through the Platform. When we refer to "We", "Our(s)", "Us" we mean QuidProX.

All documents and communications between us will be in English unless agreed otherwise.
The Privacy Policy is governed by our terms and conditions agreement (the "Terms And Conditions").

Information collection and use

In general terms: we collect information to connect Companies with Experts, who are recommended by Referrers. QuidProX does collect the following personally identifiable information (personal data) in order to register a user, post a job, refer an expert, express interest in a job/expert, display statuses, display alert indicators, display statistical information and provide all related administrative services such as invoicing and payments. Personally identifiable information collected for these various purposes and how it is used is listed below. The data submitted to a user account remains the property of the user; users do not have access to each other.
Note: some information is required information necessary for the proper functioning of the Platform (indicated by an asterisk "*" on the Platform) and some information is optional to help us to improve our Platform.

Your name, address, phone number, URL (if any)

When you use our Platform, we may request your name, address, phone number, email address, website URL, or other real-world contact information, how you did you hear about QuidProX, and some other optional information like if you want to be informed with a newsletter, in order to create your (user) account (the "Profile"). The Profile is a body of personal information within the Platform which is only viewable and accessible by the registered user (member) himself/herself of the Platform when logged in. We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested and to comply with any requirements of law. We do not publicly publish your Profile or share it with third-parties for commercial reasons. QuidProX may conduct background checks on persons wishing to use the Platform and/or use the Platform already but with a flagged status e.g. when an Expert has been hired but has not been marked hired by the Company or the Expert on the Platform.

User identification (email address), password

QuidProX will ask you to enter an email address, password, and/or another identifier. We use this information to protect your Profile and to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Platform, customize and personalize content to your request, and to comply with any requirements of law. We will not sell or rent your email address to third-parties or publicly publish your email address or password for any commercial reason.

Invoicing and payment information

Resulting from specific actions you take such as purchase of subscription, refer jobs, refer Experts, … we may collect invoicing and/or payment information, such as registered company name, payment method, bank account, PayPal account, credit card, Automated Clearing House (ACH) data, associated with your personal identity, VAT number (if applicable). If you are subject to VAT and are VAT registered, you are in all cases at any time responsible to declare the VAT to comply with your local tax authorities.We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Platform, and to comply with any requirements of law.

Government-issued ID-numbers

If you earn a Referral Success Fee and are a taxpayer, you are in all cases at any time responsible to declare the income to comply with your local tax authorities. QuidProX may request that you provide personally identifiable information such as copy passport, identity card, tax identification number, social security number, residence and/or complete the applicable local tax form. Failure to provide this information or complete this form will prevent you from receiving your Referral Success Fee.

The names and email addresses of your contacts

In order to keep your contacts' information as much as possible confidential, you do not need to manually enter or upload the names and email addresses of other persons on the Platform in order to send referral messages. Only when inviting new Referrers and/or Experts to register on the platform an email address is required. In compliance with GDPR-law, it is required to confirm you have the consent of the invitee to use his/her email address for inviting purposes.

QuidProX does not sell, rent, share, trade, or give away your contacts' email addresses to third-parties, or use them to send any communication other than those directly related to the QuidProX's Service.

Personal information in job postings

QuidProX offers the ability to collect and review referrals and interest in job postings via the Platform. Therefore, if you post a job, it has to be text only and you must not provide your email or web address (i.e. no hyperlinks) or any other personal direct contact information in the job description of your job posting. If you nevertheless choose to show personal information in your job posting, then be aware that it will be available to all selected Referrers and that QuidProX cannot be held liable regarding the personal data you made public. We will not copy, distribute and disclose any content in the job posting.

Personal information of members in referral paths

It is important to note that QuidProX is a place where referrals are made. QuidProX facilitates the referral process in which you connect with other members, your personal information such as name, email address, statuses, alert indicators, statistics, ranking might be shared with these members.
The Expert’s and Company’s personal information such as telephone number and email address will always be disclosed to the Referrer. In order to keep the Expert’s and Company’s information as much as possible confidential, contact information will not be disclosed and withheld (kept confidential) until both Company and Expert show interest.
The administrator (the "Administrator") of QuidProX may see, for administrative purposes, the personal information of all users. However, these personal data will only be processed by QuidProX on a need-to-know basis.

Information about your computer

When you visit our Platform, we may automatically collect information about your computer configuration, such as your browser type, operating system, IP (Internet) Protocol) address or ISP Internet Service Provider) domain name, if such information is available. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to your personality e.g. IP addresses may be used to identify your location. We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Platform, customize and personalize content to your request or configuration, and to comply with any requirements of law. See also the paragraph about "Cookies" and "Web Beacons".

Navigation and clickstream data

As you browse our Platform, we gather navigational and clickstream data that shows what pages are visited and how long various features are used. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to you personally. We use this information to improve the Platform for everyone and to comply with any requirements of law.

Interactive data

You may decide to input data while using certain interactive features of QuidProX, such as posting a job, creating a referral or expressing interest in a job. Once you are a registered user, this information is linked to you personally. We use this information to complete and support the immediate activity requested, administer and run the Platform, and to comply with any requirements of law.

Communication

When you send an email or other communications to QuidProX, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, responses to your requests and improve our Services.

Postings to all Referrers

Please remember that if you post any of your personal information in job postings, such information is visible to all selected Referrers and may be collected and used by other users over whom QuidProX has no control. QuidProX is not responsible for the use made by third-parties of information you post or otherwise make available in public areas of the Platform.

Updating your personally identifiable information

QuidProX provides you with the ability to access and modify your personally identifiable information through the "My Profile" page, which is viewable and modifiable by yourself.
You may request that QuidProX removes you and all your data from its system.
Note: The Administrator may modify, for administrative purposes, information in the Profiles of the users and at request remove the complete Profile.

In the event you terminate your (user) account, we will remove/delete all related personal information from the Platform after finalization of all the necessary steps to ensure all obligations have been met. However, QuidProX may retain a copy in its files, even if removed/deleted, in order to resolve any pending actions, disputes or enforce the Terms and Conditions.
If you are a registered user of the Platform and you no longer wish to receive newsletter information you should deselect the applicable tick mark selection box for "Newsletter" in "My Profile". But please note: newsletter information will keep you informed about important news about QuidProX and it is recommended you keep it selected for the proper use of the Platform.

"Cookies"

"Cookies" are small files stored by your browser on your computer when you visit our Platform and do not personally identify users, although it does identify a user's computer. We use cookies to improve our Platform and make it easier to use. Cookies permit us to recognize users and avoid repetitive requests for the same information. We use session cookies that are automatically deleted after each visit. Cookies from our Platform can't be read by other sites. We may also use a persistent cookie that will allow your browser to remember your login information on a specific computer so that you don't have to re-enter your user credentials the next time you visit the Platform.
Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer, and they do not contain viruses. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change this feature in your browser. If you block all cookies, our Platform will still work, but beware that certain features of the Platform may not function properly without the aid of cookies and therefore QuidProX cannot be held responsible.
Certain information about Platform usage may be shared with third-parties for the purpose of targeting our internet advertisements at other sites. We have no access to or control over these cookies ones we have given permission for them to set cookies for advertising. This Policy covers the use of cookies by QuidProX only and does not cover the use of cookies by any of our business partners.

"Web beacons"

Sometimes, we use "web beacons" or "clear GIFs", these are small pieces of code placed on a web page to monitor the behaviour and collect data about the visitors viewing a web page. E.g. web beacons can be used to recognize when a browser visits the Platform as a result of an advertisement, to count the users who visit a web page or to deliver a cookie to the browser of a visitor viewing that page. QuidProX may use beacons as well to track the status of sent messages. The information collected and shared through this technology is not personally identifiable.

Links to third-party websites and third-party content

The QuidProX platform Platform may contain links to other sites and we may display content such as advertisements from third-parties on our Platform. QuidProX is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites, nor the way in which information about their users is treated. QuidProX encourages the user of the QuidProX Platform to be aware when leaving the QuidProX Platform and to read the Privacy Policies of each site to which QuidProX may link that may collect personally identifiable information. QuidProX does not store any personal information such as user id and password used to access these third-party websites.

Information sharing

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and as a result we do not sell, rent, share, trade, or give away your own personally identifiable information and your contacts' identifiable information to third-parties, or use them to send any communication other than those directly related to the QuidProX's Service. We share customer information only with your consent and/or with third-parties QuidProX controls that either is subject to the Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your personally identifiable information to these third-parties such as business partners and service providers.

We may disclose your information and/or your contacts' information if necessary to protect our legal rights e.g. non-payment of invoice(s) or if the information relates to actual or threatened harmful conduct. Disclosure may be required or permitted by law, regulation, or if we receive legal process, including a court order or subpoena. QuidProX may share with others statuses, alert indicators, statistical information, ranking, and aggregated, non-personal identifiable, information such as publishing a report on trends in the usage of the Platform.When you contact other users or third-parties through the Platform and provide personal information, QuidProX cannot control how those users and third-parties may use and disclose the personal information that you provide. Therefore, always use caution when providing your personal information to third-parties.

Transfer of data to a third-party

In the event of a merger, a takeover, an acquirement by a third-party, personal data of QuidProX's users will generally be one of the transferred business assets. QuidProX reserves the right to include user's personal data in such a transfer, assuming that the third-party agrees to comply with the Privacy Policy.

Data security and protection

We follow reasonable technical and management practices to help protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of data stored on our system. Access to all of user's information is restricted. Only authorized employees such as the Administrator of QuidProX, who needs the information to perform a specific job, are granted access to personal information. We store certain kinds of data in encrypted form. The servers on which QuidProX stores personal information are hosted in high-security environments. We believe the measures implemented by our Platform reduce the likelihood of security problems to a level appropriate to the type of data involved.
For security and privacy reasons, QuidProX will automatically log you out and require you to log in again after approximately 30 minutes of inactivity.
While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of the information you transmit to us, and if you choose to use our Platform, you do so at your own risk.

Data retention

QuidProX will keep user data on its server or in its archives for as long as we reasonably need it. However, your personal data shall, in any case, not be kept longer than the limitation period of prescription (i.e. 10 years for contractual responsibility). We may alter this practice according to changing requirements. For example, we may delete some data if needed to free up storage space. We may keep other data for longer periods if the law requires it. In addition, information posted in a public forum could stay in the public domain indefinitely.
Data management requests are administered in an orderly manner to the extent feasible and within our direct control. Note: we have greater control over recently collected data than for archived data. Once data is removed from the system and archived, it may not be feasible to accommodate specific requests.

Children and minors

The QuidProX Platform may only be used by persons 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Please read the Terms and Conditions.

(Newsletter) Email alerts, RSS, and online surveys

If you are a user or you have previously asked us for information on our services, we may send you information in order to keep you informed about important news of our services by (newsletter) email alerts, unless you have asked us not to do so by unselecting newsletter information in the field "Newsletter" under "My Profile" or to opt-out of receiving these email messages by following the unsubscribe procedure provided in the email.
Please note: operational communication via email to users such as verifications, notifications, confirmations might be necessary for the proper functioning of the Platform and therefore it is not possible to opt-out and/or unsubscribe for these type of emails.
The nature of the services we provide on our Platform is such that other users of the Platform may be able to send you (referral) messages relating to our Platform: inviting you to register and use the Services on our Platform, recommending Experts to you, recommending you for jobs. We are not able to control the actions of other users and therefore we accept no responsibility for any actions of other users in making use of this (referral) message facility on our Platform.
It may be possible to (un)subscribe also to QuidProX news via RSS-feed.


Occasionally QuidProX conducts an online user survey to collect information about our users' preferences. These surveys are optional and if a user chooses to respond, the responses will be kept anonymous. The demographic information that QuidProX collects through online surveys is used to help us improve our services to meet the needs and preferences of users. This may include targeted advertising about our services.

Transfer of information (international)

QuidProX is an international Platform. Information collected on the Platform may be stored and processed in any country in which QuidProX or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities. In this regards, QuidProX is allowed to transfer information outside of the user's country. Currently, the Platform is controlled, operated and administered by QuidProX from its offices within Belgium in Europe and the Privacy Policy is provided in accordance with and subject to applicable Belgian law. If you are based outside Belgium and decide to access the Platform from you location outside Belgium, you hereby agree to be subject to the Privacy Policy and waive all other privacy-related rights you may have.

Compliance privacy laws

QuidProX aims to comply with the most relevant legislation regarding the protection of personal data such as:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Rights

At any time the user can effectuate its right to access, modify, terminate the user account and/or request the removal, limitation of processing or portability of personal information. The user needs to contact QuidProX via the Contact Us page. Within a reasonable period of time, QuidProX will fulfill the user's request. The user has the right to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority regarding the processing of his personal data by QuidProX.

Amendments to these terms

QuidProX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Privacy Policy with or without notice, at any time. Any such change will be effective once reflected in the text of the Privacy Policy and published on this web page. QuidProX recommends that you check the Privacy Policy periodically to ensure that you are aware of and complying with the current version as they are binding on you. By using the Platform, you acknowledge to have read and to agree with the Privacy Policy, whether or not you have reviewed such amendments.

Governing law and jurisdiction

The Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of  Belgium (Europe). All the parties irrevocably agree that the Belgian court of Antwerp in Belgium is to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with the Privacy Policy and the information to be entered into pursuant to it.
